BYU is going independent. BYU is officially going independent in football. They will join the West Coast Conference in all other sports. The move will take effect on June 30, 2011, allowing the team to join the WCC in all other sports starting next season.

6 games to be nationally televisedVersus and NBC released their broadcast schedules for the upcoming season and there are 5 games on Versus slate and 1 on NBC. All but one of the games on Versus are away games for the Blues and 2 of them are against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks. The lone game on NBC is against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
